To introduce the central Idea of the unit, students were shown a video of 'We all laugh in the same language' and had to reflect on what message did the song convey. The song celebrates positive values, love of learning, and cultural diversity.
What amazing :) perspective students had!
Very strongly my 3rd Graders pointed out that many people speak in different language, and live in different types of homes but we all have the same kind of feelings!!!!!
WE ALL LAUGH IN THE SAME LANGUAGE
