ROALD DAHL DAY
The
official Roald Dahl Day takes place every year on 13 September, on the birthday
of the World's No. 1 Storyteller. 2012 is a special year as it celebrates 30
years of the swizzfiggling Big Friendly Giant. The BFG is famous for catching,
creating and making dreams come true. Today students were read to a book ESIO-TROT by
Roald Dahl in the library.
Also one of my students who is a
voracious reader and a budding poet wrote a poem on the famous author.
Dahl is such a distinguished writer! Itz a pity Roald Dahl day celebrations this year were a little muted down
