Participation in role-play allows students to make
decisions, and through the feedback he or she receives, they sees the results
of their actions, and can therefore learn how to adjust the words and actions
to produce more likeable results. My 3rd Graders worked in groups
and showcased their understanding of the First line of Inquiry in the form of
role play. They were very well able to show how demand and supply affect every
individual in a society. Role-playing actually teaches many
lessons that are needed in society i.e. competition, cooperation and empathy.
