Children were
introduced to a variety of genres to help develop their own interest in reading
and writing. If children are exposed to various genres they will gain “a
much greater general awareness of these genres, their shapes, their meaning
potentials, and their functions than children who do not”. Through this approach, we as an educator stimulated
the student to learn new skills. Out of the HUGE genre list created by
children, they shortlisted 6 of them and did an extensive research.

- COMEDY
Later they shared their findings with the class.
